We have the victory

God, in His sovereignty, gave the earth to man to rule and have authority over.  He also gave us His free will so we could choose to do this on our own, through a dependent relationship with Him.  When man chose independence from God, we all became unplugged from the source of God’s life.  Now the god of this world (devil) is in control.

If you’ve never heard this before, you might say, “Well that explains why the earth is in such a mess.  Nothing we can do about it then.  That’s life!” We accept loss, corruption and sickness as part of life.

Here’s the good news!  God has sent Jesus Christ to redeem us and give us back the identity, purpose, blessing, and authority that man lost in the fall.  Through Jesus we can become plugged back in to the source of eternal life-here and now!!

John 17:3 Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.

Through a personal, active, and dependent relationship with God, through Jesus Christ, we become world overcomers in this life and spend eternity in His presence.

John 16:33 “these things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” (NOW)
