Healing, Relationship

Walking in the realities of the Kingdom of God

You have to truly want it enough to pursue it.  One minister says, if you can live without it, you will.

How important is it to you?  Not necessarily how desperate, though we’re often slothful until we are.  Faith and sensitivity to God’s Spirit is only nurtured in the right environment; through the truths of God’s Word and in fellowship with Him.

God says in Jeremiah 29:13, “And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.”  Faith comes by hearing God!  And faith is the currency of the Kingdom. We don’t earn anything in the Kingdom of God, instead, we have to cultivate our relationship with God and let it be the most important one in our life.   Everything else (all of our life) flows from this abiding. (John 15:5)

Jer. 29:13NLT “If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.”

If you can live without hearing God, you will.

If you can live without being healed, you will.

If you can live without experiencing peace, love, joy, and all of the fruit of the Spirit, you will.

What are you drawing your life from?  What feeds you?  The news? The pressures and responsibilities in your life?  Materialistic goals?  Fear?  God’s life doesn’t flow from these.

To live in Kingdom reality here on earth, we must draw our life from God.  God’s Word contains everything we need for life and godliness. (2 Peter 1:3)

Proverbs 4:20-23 My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; for they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh. Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.

Many people don’t understand this, thinking the Bible and Christianity is simply meant to be a moral guide.  But its real purpose is to know God and to change the way we live, not just behave.  Do you want to live the abundant life Jesus said He came to give us? (John 10:10) You can.  Not only that, it’s the way God designed our life to function best. There’s so much we could say about this, but the answer to a successful and purposeful life is a surrendered life.

Jesus said, “… It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” (Matt: 4:4)
