Grace is God’s provision for man’s every need; spirit, soul, and body.
Romans 8:32 says, “He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?”
Grace = Jesus (God’s provision for man’s every need; spirit, soul, and body)
John 1:17 For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
Jesus = Living Word(God’s provision manifested for man’s every need; spirit, soul, and body)
John 1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us………..full of grace and truth.
Living Word = Seed (God’s provision sown in the earth to provide for man’s every need; spirit, soul, and body)
John 12:24 Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.
Seed = The Word of God (God’s provision when sown in our hearts provides for our every need; spirit, soul, and body)
Mark 4:14 The farmer sows the Word
God’s grace is in Jesus, the living Word of God. When we take the Word, which is Jesus, and plant it in our heart like a seed, it will produce the fruit of it in our lives. I.e. when you are born again, it is a result of taking the Word of God that promises salvation, believing it in your heart and confessing that word out of your mouth. This produces a spiritual change within you and you are born-again.
- 1 Peter 1:23 For you have been born again, not by a seed that perishes but by one that cannot perish—by the living and everlasting Word of God.
Jesus is the Word of God made flesh, to demonstrate God’s will. In Jesus we can see everything God is and everything He has done for us. This is His grace manifested.
- John 1:16 And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace.
Now we have the written Word of God which is Jesus, still the perfect representation of God.
John 1: 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
